ORIGINAL SERIGRAPHS BY JANE WOOSTER SCOTT
A serigraph is printed using screens made of silk, nylon or wire mesh. The number of screens used depends on the number of colors needed to produce the finished work. The screens are treated to block out certain portions so that when ink is squeezed through it will only be applied to the desired area of the paper. Each serigraph in the edition is numbered and signed by the artist.
